  • How does Semaglutide and Tirzepatide work on weight loss?
    Semaglutide activates GLP-1 receptor in the brain that helps to decrease appetite and initiates feeling of “fullness”.  It also makes the food stays longer in the stomach, therefore, controlling hunger, blood sugar, and insulin resistance. Tirzepatide, like Semaglutide, acts on GLP-1 receptor decreasing cravings.  It also acts on GIP that stimulates pancreas to release insulin in response to elevated blood sugar.  It slows down the rate at which food empties into small intestine making you “feel full”. 
  • Who is a candidate for Semaglutide/Tirzepatide?
    Obese patients with BMI of 30 and above; Overweight patients with BMI of 27 and above with other medical issues such as High blood pressure, high cholesterol, Prediabetes/Diabetes, etc.
  • Who should not take Semaglutide/Tirzepatide?
    Personal or Family history of Thyroid Cancer- Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) Personal or Family history of MEN2 - Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 2 Frequent pancreatitis Gallbladder issues Severe digestion problems Pregnant patients
  • What are the most common side effects?
    Nausea, fatigue, constipation are the most common side effects but this can be prevented and/or resolved with proper teaching of nutrition, hydration, and medication adjustments.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    No.  No insurance needed. We accept all major credit cards.
  • What methods of payment do you accept?

  • How do I book appointments?

  • How do Telehealth visits work?
    Once booking is received, we will send you a medical question form to your email. You will need to complete this before your appointment. This will be discussed during your visit with the provider.
  • Do I need lab work done?
    Your provider will decide if you need lab work. Acceptable lab results if done within 6 to 12 months from the day of your appointment.  You can present the lab work on the day of your appointment. 
  • What pharmacy do you order the Semaglutide/Tirzepatide?
    FDA approved compounding pharmacy.  They will shipped the medication to your home overnight but it can take 3 to 4 days at times depending on traffic.
